This privacy policy explains how Simone Smerilli (“I”, “me”) collects and uses information when you visit https://simonesmerilli.com (the “Site”).

A. Newsletter
If you subscribe, I collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. I may also note where on the Site you subscribed (for example homepage or footer).
I use this to send the newsletter and related subscription messages (including confirmation and unsubscribe). You must confirm your email before you are fully subscribed. You can withdraw anytime via the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting me.
I keep subscription data until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it, plus any short period needed so you are not re-added by mistake.
B. Contact form
If you contact me, I collect your name, email address, and message so I can read and reply.
C. Technical and usage data
When you visit the Site, standard technical information may be processed to deliver pages, keep the Site secure, and understand aggregate traffic (for example approximate location, pages viewed, and device/browser details). Service providers that help me host and operate the Site may process this data on my behalf.
